Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
A transformative approach to healing the mind, body, and spirit through expanded states of awareness.
What we are providing
We offer Lozenge (sublingual) Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as a safe, evidence-informed treatment that integrates low-dose ketamine with guided psychotherapy. This modality supports emotional processing, neuroplasticity, and deep inner healing for individuals struggling with depression, PTSD, anxiety, and other treatment-resistant conditions. Our clinical approach combines the therapeutic benefits of ketamine with structured talk therapy to help clients access insights, regulate mood, and restore well-being in a supportive and trauma-informed environment.

What is Ketamine?
Ketamine is currently the only legally prescribable psychedelic medicine in Massachusetts. At low doses, it has been safely and effectively utilized to reduce suffering across a broad range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), addiction, eating disorders, chronic pain syndromes, persistent suicidal thoughts, end-of-life anxiety, and for meaningful personal insight and spiritual exploration.
Ketamine may also support healing of the psychospiritual aspects of complex chronic medical conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, as well as symptoms arising from psychiatric medication tapering or discontinuation. These conditions often involve dysregulation of the limbic and autonomic nervous systems, leading to significant psychiatric symptoms. Ketamine helps calm the limbic system and serves as a restorative agent for the nervous system.

The Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Experience
The expanded states of consciousness brought about by ketamine can significantly deepen and enhance the therapeutic process. Ketamine promotes neuroplasticity—essentially acting like “Miracle-Gro” for the brain—especially during the 7 to 10 days following a session. A standard session lasts approximately two hours, and treatment is typically offered every 7 to 10 days over a span of 4 to 6 weeks. This timeframe appears to offer the greatest therapeutic benefit. However, there is no requirement to commit to a full course before experiencing a session and deciding if it resonates with you.
What to Expect
If you are not already an established patient, we will begin with a brief Screening to assess whether this treatment is appropriate and potentially beneficial for you. If so, you will receive preliminary forms to complete prior to scheduling a comprehensive 60-minute medical and psychiatric evaluation, during which we will also review informed consent.
A preparatory session will follow, where we’ll explore your goals, intentions, concerns, and questions to help you feel grounded and informed before your experience.
We will then schedule a two-hour ketamine session in a calm, comfortable setting. You’ll lie down with eye shades and headphones playing carefully curated music to support your inner journey. Ketamine is administered in lozenge form. nausea can occur in some individuals. After about 1.5 hours, the peak effects typically subside, allowing for gentle reflection and therapeutic processing during the remaining time. Please note: you must arrange a ride home, as you will not be able to drive yourself after the session.
An integration session will be scheduled within 1 to 3 days following the ketamine journey. Integration is a vital component of psychedelic-assisted therapy, helping to consolidate insights and promote lasting change.
Following your session, I encourage you to nurture the feelings, thoughts, and states you wish to expand in your life. Supportive activities may include meditation, time in nature, creative expression, journaling, movement, decluttering, or simply allowing time for reflection.
